O Come Thou, Sweet Redeeming Fire

The 50th anniversary of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Arlington, Virginia was the occasion for commissioning this a cappella anthem. Director of Music Carol Feather Martin conducted the premiere during Sunday morning worship. An original text by poet Jane Griner is suitable for general use, although references to "redeeming fire" may make it particularly useful at Pentecost.
