Commissioned by Bruce D. Hall for the members of the music fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Lifted In Song is an a cappella work for TTBB chorus. The text speaks of the ways music lifts us when faced by challenges.

This song is incredible. Rarely does a song incorporate meaningful lyrics along with gorgeous music. I performed this with the TTBB MSVMA 2008 State Honors Choir, and it was the most touching song I have performed.
