Love Came Down at Christmas

This captivating little Christmas anthem was commissioned for Westmoreland Congregational United Church of Christ in Bethesda, Maryland by a member of the congregation. It uses the familiar text by Christina Rosetti. A gently rocking figure in the organ accompaniment starts the work and continues beneath the first two verses. The choir begins the third verse unaccompanied, then the organ returns to softly support the quiet ending.
